Sunday Morning Schedule Changes

Beginning February 7, 2016 the Sunday morning Schedule will be as follows:

09:00am-09:45am Remembrance Service
10:00am-11:15am Worship Services (English and Spanish)
11:30am-12:15pm Afterwords (Adults and Youth) / DiscipleLand (Children)

How will this impact the Children’s ministry?

Childcare/Curriculum for Nursery to 4-years-old will be provided for all three times. They will go to their classrooms at the beginning of the service. Children (K-6th) will stay in the Worship Service with their parents. We’ll have a special “Kid’s Sermon Notes” page provided each week during the Worship Service. We’ll also have a live video feed of the worship service in the Library for parents that need to take their children out of the service.

What is Afterwords?

Afterwords is a facilitated discussion focussing on the morning message that’s designed to give our church family an opportunity to connect relationally and dig a little deeper into the ‘big idea’ from the sermon. Our goal is greater depth and intimacy with God and each other. There are presently four adult classes (three in English and one in Spanish). All four of the classes will use the same discussion guide. Feel free to attend whichever one’s comfortable. There’re no assignments. Jump right in; change groups–no preparation required. Following is a list of Facilitators for the Spring, 2016 semester and their room assignments. We’ll also have printouts with maps at the Welcome Desk in the Foyer.

Chris Buker – Remembrance Room
Peter Burns – La Capilla
Aleks Clark (Spanish) – Rm 108
Ken Fleming – Worship Hall
Jamie Wolfgram (Youth) – Youth Impact
